Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 18, 2026

Owen Oil Paint Games (“we”, “us” or “our”) takes your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information we handle when you download and use our mobile application (the “App”), why we handle it, who it may be shared with, and the choices available to you. In this policy, the App together with any related websites and support channels are referred to collectively as the “Services”.

This policy covers only information handled through the Services, including email and other electronic messages exchanged with us in connection with the Services. It does not cover information that third parties collect from you through their own products or outside of the Services — for that, see Section 3 below and the third parties' own privacy policies.

This Privacy Policy forms part of, and is incorporated into, our Terms of Service. Please read it carefully before using the Services or sending us any personal information. By installing or using the Services you agree to the practices described below; if you do not agree with any part of this policy, please stop using the Services and uninstall the App.

1. Who We Are

Owen Oil Paint Games is the data controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy. For any questions or comments about this policy or about how your data is handled, you can reach us at: owenpaintgame@outlook.com

2. Information We Collect

In this policy, “Personal Information” means any information that identifies you on its own, or that could reasonably identify you when combined with other information in our possession.

Information you give us. If you email us or otherwise contact us, we receive whatever details you choose to include in your message.

Information collected automatically. While the App runs on your device, we and our service providers may receive:

Payment details. In-app purchases are billed and processed entirely by the app store you bought them through (Apple or Google). The store handles your payment details and keeps them secure; we never see or store your credit or debit card information. The store's own purchase rules and policies are available directly from the store.

“Do Not Track”. The Services do not currently react to Do Not Track (DNT) signals and operate as described in this policy whether or not such a signal is received.

3. Third-Party Services in the App

Some features of the Services are delivered by third parties — for example our analytics, advertising and backend providers — who may use their own automatic collection technologies to gather information about you or your device. Information we receive from these partners is covered by this policy; what they do with your information is governed by their own privacy policies, listed below:

Where data protection laws such as the GDPR apply, we process your Personal Information on one or more of the following grounds:

5. How We Use Your Information

We put the information described above to the following uses:

6. When We Share Your Information

We do not rent or sell your Personal Information. We share it only in these situations:

Service providers. Vendors working on our behalf — hosting and cloud services, advertising and marketing services, payment processors, and analytics providers — may access, process or store information as needed to perform their work for us.

Business transfers. If we go through a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, receivership or financing due diligence, sell some or all of our assets, or hand the Services over to another operator, your information may be reviewed by the parties involved and transferred to the successor as part of that transaction.

Legal reasons. We may disclose information where the law requires it, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation (including national security or law-enforcement demands), to protect or defend our rights or property, to prevent fraud, to protect the safety of users or the public, or to defend against legal liability.

With your consent. We may also share information when you have agreed to it, or for any other purpose we told you about when you provided the information.

7. Storage and Retention

Your information is stored with third-party hosting vendors that apply industry-standard safeguards. In using the Services, you give us your permission to receive, handle, transfer and store your information in this way.

We keep information only as long as the purposes above require, or as long as legal duties (such as taxation, accounting or auditing rules), fraud prevention, or data backup arrangements make necessary. Once that period ends, we delete the information or anonymize it.

On the security side: we rely on partners that use industry-standard measures to guard against accidental loss and against unauthorized access, use, alteration or disclosure. Even so, no transmission over the internet or mobile networks is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information in transit — you transmit it at your own risk. We are not responsible if privacy settings or security measures we provide are circumvented.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Providing Personal Information is sometimes optional; however, certain features of the Services cannot work without it, and declining to provide it may make those features unavailable to you.

Advertising choices. On Apple devices, you will be asked when you first open the App whether you want to opt out of targeted advertising. On Android devices, you can opt out through your Google Play account settings under “My Ad Center”.

Correcting your information. Email us at the address in Section 1 if anything we hold about you needs to be changed or corrected.

Deleting your information. We extend the Right to be Forgotten (the right to deletion of your Personal Information) to every user, whether or not you live in or are a citizen of the European Union or the United Kingdom. Email us if you would like your Personal Information deleted. Note that this right is not unlimited — it reaches the following kinds of Personal Information held by us at the time of your request:

UK and EEA residents additionally have the rights of access (to request copies of your personal data), rectification (to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected), erasure (as described above), restriction of processing, objection to processing, and data portability (to have your data transferred to you or to another organization), each subject to the conditions set by law. We will respond to any such request within one month. To exercise these rights, contact us at owenpaintgame@outlook.com.

California residents. This policy is designed to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA). We do not sell your personal information to anyone. Should that ever change, we will first provide you with the opt-out and opt-in rights the CCPA requires.

Third-party advertising. We do not control how third parties collect or use your information for interest-based advertising, but many of them offer their own opt-out mechanisms — please consult their privacy policies (see Section 3).

9. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from anyone under that age. If we discover that we have received such information without verified parental consent, we will delete it as quickly as possible. If you believe a child under 13 may have provided Personal Information to us through the Services, please contact us at owenpaintgame@outlook.com so we can remove it from our records.

10. Changes to This Policy

As the Services and our business evolve, this Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page, unless applicable law requires a different form of notice. Continuing to use the Services, or providing Personal Information to us, after an updated policy has been posted means you accept the revised policy and the practices it describes.
